Junior Achievement Awards PDF Print E-mail

This Award is a new addition and is currently in its pilot stage.  It is designed for children aged 7 to 11yrs and uses a peer education approach to help children plan and review the learning gained in an almost limitless range of activities that interests and motivates them. The Award recognises and rewards children’s achievements, and is designed to develop a range of personal and social skills.

Each Award is divided in to five activities. Junior Award

Each activity needs to be a minimum of three hours long.

An activity is a description of something that a child intends to do. For example, something that they have not tried before, or that builds upon a previous achievement.

Children complete the activity pages of their Award book as well as ‘tell the story’ of their learning using evidence collected along the way.

The Junior Achievement Award is due to be launched nationally in September, however if you are interested in getting involved in the pilot please get in touch.
