The First Gear programme can be accredited in a variety of ways, including Open College Network (OCN) Level 1 Award, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skill section or a Youth Achievement Award.  The choice of accreditation can be decided by the young people, taking in to account the length and intensity of the course.
