 Sat 16th Jan Safeguarding Training  Ewanrigg, Maryport   10am - 4.30pm

 Helps youth workers and volunteers to understand the latest legislation and helps to explain what their role is regarding safeguarding children & young people.

 Tues 19th Jan Drug Awareness Training  Keswick  6pm - 9pm  Available via a partnership between CYP and the national 'Talk to Frank' initiative. It aims to give your workers & volunteers the ocnfidence to speak to the young people they work with about cannabis and FRANK's overall messages.  Sat 30th Jan Sports Leader Training  Whitehaven Harbour  10am - 4.30pm  An active day which gives youth workers and volunteers the oppurtunity to be trained in CYP's Sports and Activities Scheme.  Sat 6th Feb Keyfund Facilitator Training  Whitehaven  10am - 4.30pm  This course trains you to be a Keyfund Faciltator. Keyfund is a highly regarded youth work process that enables young people to develop a wide range of skills, whilst planning and undertaking a project of their choice. There is funding available that enables young people to carry out their chosen activity.  Mon 15th Feb  Sports Leaders Training North Venue (Penrith)   10am - 4.30pm  An active day which gives youth workers and volunteers the oppurtunity to be trained in CYP's Sports and Activities Scheme.
