First Aid

This course is two full-days and one morning.

 

By completing this course you will be earn two First Aid qualifications;

1. Outdoor First Aid - This meets requirements for instructors with NGB awards, including ML & SPA. It is suitable for persons working in remote and outdoor environments.

2. First Aid at Work  - This satisfies all the latest HSE requirements for provision of First Aid in working environments.

Involving Young People

 

A training day which will provide you with the knowledge and skills of how to begin involving young people in the running of your youth club.

Keyfund Facilitator

This course trains you to be a Keyfund Facilitator. Keyfund is a highly regarded youth work process that enables young people to develop a wide range of life skills, whilst planning and undertaking a project of their choice. There is a funding pot that enables young people to carry out their activity. Young Peoples learning can be accredited through Keyfund’s Local Youth Award, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skills Section and OCN.

 

 

NB: All projects in Group A are able to access Keyfund. However, only certain projects from Group B can - please call the number below if you are unsure before booking.

The cost of this course is £75 and there is also an annual membership fee of £25.  These are both

invoiced for and received by the Keyfund

Aimed at practitioners who have regular contact and responsibility for children and young people. 

 

This day helps youth workers and volunteers to  

understand the latest legislation and helps to explain what their role is regarding safeguarding children and young people.

A training day which enables workers to deliver this flexible accreditation programme with young

people.

L1 Safeguarding e-Learning Support

Aimed at those who do not have direct responsibility but do come into contact with children and young people.

 

This gives you the opportunity to have discussions around safeguarding and receive direct support completing the online L1 Safeguarding Training.
