Following a successful internal moderation, Young Cumbria will present the Awards for External Moderation with ASDAN on behalf of the network, following which the achievement of Awards can be confirmed (approximately 3 weeks from the Internal Moderation Meeting).
In addition to the structured moderation process, the internal moderation meetings also acts as great opportunity to get some feedback on part completed Awards, especially if you are new to delivering the programme with young people.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a £10 charge for all groups moderated for the Local Youth Award as a contribution to the moderation costs (this fee would apply whether the group successfully pass moderation or not as it goes some way to contributing to the costs of the moderation process). Young Cumbria seeks to support all young people in accessing accreditation programmes of their choice; if cost is a barrier please get in touch and we will seek to explore funding opportunities available to subsidise costs.
