‘Supporting Young People and Voluntary Youth Work’
Young Cumbria is a partnership of over 100 youth clubs and projects and 7 Duke of Edinburgh Award Centres - reaching over 8,000 young people a year!
Our Vision is to create positive and lasting change in the lives of young people in Cumbria and particularly to make a significant difference in outcomes for those young people most disadvantaged
Our main objectives are to promote the development of young people aged 8 to 25 in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential by the establishment and development of clubs and groups throughout the County of Cumbria and generally to carry out in this area the objects of a “County Association” as defined in the byelaws of and in conformity with the principles and aims of Clubs for Young People and UK Youth.
