‘Supporting Young People and Voluntary Youth Work’
Young Cumbria is an umbrella, infrastructure support organisation that provides advice, information and development support services to 85 youth clubs, projects, groups that are mainly volunteer led as well as direct delivery of universal and targeted youth work within the most disadvantaged communities in the County of Cumbria.
Young Cumbria’s main objectives are to promote the development of young people aged 8 to 25 in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential by the establishment and development of clubs and groups throughout the County of Cumbria and generally to carry out in this area the objects of a “County Association” as defined in the byelaws of and in conformity with the principles and aims of Clubs for Young People and UK Youth.
